Jubilee Dental was established in 1994 by Dr. James Magara. Having set up shop first in Kololo, Kampala and the second in Entebbe in 2008, it decided to broaden its wings to Kigali, Rwanda in 2011.
The decision to expand operations to Rwanda was one that was very natural as Dr. Emmanuel, a dentist at Jubiliee Dental in Rwanda explains:
"For many years after we became established in Uganda, we would receive a constant number of Rwandan patients in our Uganda-based clinics and they would ask us why we were not open in Kigali. In 2011 we decided to act upon the requests of our clients and moved here. Jubiliee Dental Rwanda was officially opened in July, 2012”
