Title hopefuls IPRC-South host IPRC-Kigali in a crucial game in the National Basketball League on Saturday in Huye District, with the home team looking to complete a double over their archrivals having won the first round 83-81 last month.

Didier Bineza’s IPRC-South will be hoping to win the game at their own backyard to go top of the table standings while Albert Buhake’s IPRC-Kigali, who are in 4th place in the league table, will be hoping to win and narrow the gap between them and third-placed Espoir.

The four-time reigning champions, Espoir will be up against struggling Cercle Sportif de Kigali (CSK) at Amahoro indoor stadium court.

Speaking to Saturday Sport, IPRC-South coach Bineza said, "This is a derby of Integrated Polytechnic Regional Centers (IPRC) in basketball league; it’s a game we can’t afford to lose since we will be playing on home court.”

The 26-year-old trainer believes that if his big guns such as Bienvenu Niyonsaba (captain), Yesman Bushiri and Sunny Niyomugabo turn up for the game in the right mood, no team can stand in their way while IPRC-Kigali will rely on Bruno Nyamwasa and Steve Havugintwari to lead a surge for an away win.
