White Clouds cricket club take on Queens of Victory in the ongoing Women’s V.R Naidu T20 tournament on Saturday morning at Kicukiro cricket oval.

"We are going to play our 3rd game against a good side, so we need to be well prepared and ready for a tough challenge,” said White Clouds captain, Veronica Iriho.

She noted that all the players are in good spirit and are ready to challenge Queens of Victory and increase their chances of playing the final.

Her counterpart of Queens of Victory, Jeanne d’ Arc Sibo, is also optimistic that they can go on to win and too boost their chances.

She Guards are top of the table with 10 points in 4 matches, followed by Charity CC with 8 points in 2 outings, while White Clouds are third with two points in two games.

Queens of Victory and FAWE Girls School occupy the bottom two places with a point each. The best two teams will qualify for the final which will be played on April 24.

Meanwhile, in the men’s category, Impala Titans club will face-off Kerala Hunters on Sunday in the first two games scheduled for tomorrow (Sunday), and will be followed by the clash between Kigali CC and Kigali Warriors, both games at Kicukiro cricket oval.
