Gicumbi Football Club head coach Emmanuel Ruremesha has warned rival teams ahead of the second round of the National Football League which will resume on April, 16.

After his side finished seventh in the first round of the National Football League, Ruremesha now says he believes his side will be better in second round.

"It has been a tough first round but we kept our faith and worked hard so that we can reach as far as possible,” Ruremesha said.

"I have told my players that we are going to face a challenge in the second round, but we are ready. We hope we will put up better performance than in the first round,” the former Rayon Sports, Atraco and Mukura coach said.

Gicumbi finished in seventh position in the first round with 21 points; they have won five games, drawn six and lost four – and Ruremesha is keen to finish in top four.

Last season, Gicumbi FC finished in sixth position in the 14-team league table standing with 36 points from 26 league matches.
