INATEK continue perfect run in volleyball league

Defending champions INATEK maintained their unbeaten record in the men’s volleyball league after beating last season’s runners-up, Rayon Sports 3-1 in Ngoma District on Saturday.

Defending champions INATEK maintained their unbeaten record in the men’s volleyball league after beating last season’s runners-up, Rayon Sports 3-1 in Ngoma District on Saturday.

INATEK have now won five consecutive matches since the start of the season – against Umubano Blue Tigers, IPRC-South, Lycee de Nyanza and Kirehe. They lead the table with 14 points, having only dropped one point against Kirehe, whom they beat 3-2.

Former champions APR are in second position with nine points after winning three games against Lycee de Nyanza, IPRC-South, and Kigali Volleyball Club. The club lost to Kirehe, but they have one game in hand against Umubano Blue Tigers.

Meanwhile, in women’s league, defending champions, Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) continue to lead the table with 15 points after five games.  On Saturday, they beat IPRC-Kigali 3-0, APR won 3-0 against Lycee de Nyanza 3-0 while St Aloys beat St Joseph 3-0.
