Rwanda and Japan ink Rwf14 billion deal to boost electricity distribution

The Government of Rwanda and Japan have signed a Rwf $18. 4 million (approximately Rwf14 billion) financing agreement of to boost electricity distribution networks in the City of Kigali.

The Government of Rwanda and Japan have signed a $18. 4 million (approximately Rwf14 billion) financing agreement of to boost electricity distribution networks in the City of Kigali.

Finance and Economic Planning Minister, Claver Gatete, told The New Times that the support will specifically be used to construct Ndera substation, Murindi and Kabuga power switching stations.
