Countries that passed through wars do not only handicap people during the fighting, but also after the wars planted mines continue to maim many.

Any offer from donors, like that one the Germans promised Rwanda is highly welcome. We need to keep a world free from mines, but this shouldn’t remains in words.

There is need for practical de-mining that covers the whole country. Otherwise, you will never know how dangerous landmines are, until you see someone hit.
