RE: "Kenyans have seen where the tourism winds are blowing "(The New Times, 28 February).
Tourism is a subject very close to my heart having worked, myself in this sector for over three decades.
What caught my attention therefore on a Sunday morning, while sipping a refreshing cup of Rwandan tea, was the story of how Kenyans have so well adapted to the challenges faced by them primarily in the tourism sector in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks.
Your article spoke about the "entrepreneurship side of Kenyans " and I am quite sure our tourism industry friends and colleagues in this beautiful land of a thousand hills and a million smiles will take a cue after reading this great story of yours.
The Ministry of Youth and ICT have rolled out very many "smart " programmes and initiatives like smart agriculture, smart health care, smart education, smart infrastructure and many more.
I am confident that it will not be long before the dynamic and pro-active MYICT rolls out a "smart tourism " programme which will boost visitor arrivals and enhance foreign exchange earnings for Remarkable Rwanda , thus taking this great nation to even greater heights.
