SC Kiyovu will be seeking to return to winning ways when they take on Sunrise FC in the national football league on Sunday at Rwamagana Police ground.

Coach Yves Rwasamanzi is keen to bounce back from two back-to-back defeats to APR FC and Rayon Sports, which saw the Mumena-based side drop to seventh in the table on 17 points with four wins, five draws and three losses.

"We need three points against Sunrise. We will go into the game looking for nothing less than to win and I believe we will be able to achieve our target and move up to the table. We have not collected any point in the last two games, which makes Sunday’s game a must-win for us,” Rwasamanzi said on Friday.

However, his counterpart, Sosthene Habimana of Sunrise FC believes his side is capable of beating Kiyovu and move level with them on points.

Former Rayon Sports coach Habimana said, "We need to win the game to close the gap on the teams above us in the table. It will be difficult match because Kiyovu have lost the last two games and they will be looking to bounce back, so we have to be careful.”

Rwamagana-based Sunrise is on tenth position with 14 points from eleven games. On Friday, Rwamagana City and Espoir shared the spoils in scoreless draw on Friday in Rwamagana town.

Meanwhile, table leaders Mukura, on 29 points, host second from bottom Etincelles at Huye Stadium on Sunday.
