Rwandan Female cyclist, Jeanne d'Arc Girubuntu won Silver in Individual Time Trial at the annual African Cycling Championship taking place in Casablanca, Morroco.
Girubuntu, 20, missed out on Gold by one second, taken by 22 year old Adrian Vera from Namibia.
Last year, Girubuntu became the first black African Woman from Africa to compete in the World Championship individual Time Trial, in Richmond, Virginia.
Girubuntu started training professionally three years ago after national team rider Adrien Niyonshuti suggested she undergo a riding test.
She's the only female rider on the Rwanda national cycling team.
