AS Kigali head coach Eric Nshimiyimna has predicted a great career for 20-year-old Onesme Twizeyimana after his impressive show against Etincelles’s 4-2 win on Friday. AS Kigali will meet the second placed Mukura Victory Sports on Wednesday afternoon.

Nshimiyimana signed striker Twizeyimana from Sorwathe before the start of the season and Nshimiyimana says he can be one of the best forward in national league.

Twizeyimana snatched a hat trick against Etincelles last Friday while Amini Muzerwa scored another goal in AS Kigali win of 4-2 while Albert Mulungulu Wilonja and Yves Manishimwe scored for Etincelles.

"He is a great prospect for us, I always say he is good and talented player, but he still has a long way to go. He has to work hard for his future and show his capability,” Nshimiyimana said

"On Friday he was outstanding and he is partly the reason why we won the game. He has to continue working very hard which will make him good player,” he added.

Nshimiyimana is confident that his team can beat anyone in this league and his target is to win every game.

"We have started an excellent season and the boys will look forward to winning many games because we want to continue to lead the league table. I have done my work but he has also to work hard and if he does he will be a big player in Rwanda,” former Amavubi coach said.

Action continued on Monday as Gicumbi thrashed bottom side AS Muhanga 4-1 while Bugesera FC beat second from the bottom Etincelles 2-1.

Association Sportive de Kigali is a football club looking for the first national football league title since it was formed in 2000.
