Indorwa will have a mountain to climb when they face Kigali Warriors in the V.R NAIDU T20 cricket tournament on Sunday at the Kicukiro cricket ground.
"They probably have an upper hand to win, but we will do our best win. The morale and confidence within the team is good, so hopefully, we will win,” Indorwa captain Hijeanmessie Mihir said.
Mihir added that, "Looking at the competition, it is tough but we have down well in the last two meetings (between Indorwa and Kigali Warriors).”
The game of the day will pit Impala Titans against Telugu Royals. This year, nine men’s teams and five in the women’s category, are competing for the title.
Reigning champions Challengers Cricket Club will play their next on March 6. Last year, Challengers won a record third VR Naidu Twenty20 Cup title after seeing off archrivals Kigali Cricket Club (KCC) by six wickets.
