On Monday next week during a high-level conference in Israel, experts will share best practices and experiences from Israel and other countries in pursuit of quality education. Issues of in-service training, innovations and educational entrepreneurship in teaching will be addressed.
On Monday next week during a high-level conference in Israel, experts will share best practices and experiences from Israel and other countries in pursuit of quality education. Issues of in-service training, innovations and educational entrepreneurship in teaching will be addressed.
Participants will adopt strategies to reinforce partnerships at country level around the implementation of the teacher target in the Sustainable Development Goal 4 Education 2030.
The conference will bring together ministers and deputy ministers of education, director generals of ministries as well as officials from development agencies, civil society organisations, teacher educators and researchers from over 25 countries from around the world.
The Second High-Level Conference, organised within the framework of cooperation between MASHAV – Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation, and the International Task Force on Teachers will be held under the theme: "Achieving Education 2030 Agenda with Quality Educators”.
Discussions and sight visits organised for participants are related to the following: in-service training and continuous professional development of teachers at all levels of education as part of policy reforms; educational innovation and educational entrepreneurship as quality development tools for policy implementation; theory and practice in innovative pedagogical tools for quality education and educators.
Presentations and discussions in plenary sessions, workshops and professional sight-visits will form the substance of the conference. The aim is to further explore models which can assist in the design and implementation of strategies for effective teaching and learning for children and adults.
