Dear editor,

It is very disturbing to imagine how the war in DRC is affecting the rare mountain Gorillas. These are few species we are left with and their extinction may not be far in the troubled region.

I call upon all belligerents to fight people but not the primates. Nevertheless, my worry is one; if they cannot deist from killing each other, are they going to spare the animals? What an irrational world!
