Dear editor,

Every time I listen to the radio or read a newspaper, I find stories about Zimbabwe and mediation. When is this so-called mediation going to end?

It is high time sense ruled and a common understanding put in place. The people in that country need to rest and live a meaningful life.

It is very shameful for one to claim to be doing any good with endless negotiations as people continue to suffer.

I also have a strong feeling that these so-called negotiations are legitimizing Robert Mugabe’s political existence.

Everyone should just pull out and Mugabe will be totally exposed for what he is – a man who thinks he is greater than Zimbabwe. Otherwise the Mbeki-led talks are just a false hope that will never materialize.
