The Ministry of Trade and Industry has announced new fuel prices. Effective Monday , February 1 pump prices for petrol and diesel in Kigali are not supposed to exceed Rwf826 per litre, according to a statement from the ministry.

The price reduction was attributed to dwindling international prices which have been experienced since December last year.

Fuel pump prices had last been reduced in the country in December from Rwf888 to Rwf874
