Nigeria head coach Sunday Oliseh has hailed Rwanda for hosting them well during the fourth edition of the ongoing African Nations Championships.

Speaking exclusively to Times Sport, the former Super Eagles captain, hailed Rwanda for receiving well the participating teams and other people from outside of the country.

"We are happy with how we have been received and taken care of by the hosts. All the facilities are good. The pitches are very good, which show that Rwanda really prepared for the tournament very well,” said Oliseh.

Nigeria face Tunisia on Friday in the second Group C match at Kigali Regional Stadium in Nyamirambo, aware that a win would secure them a place in the last eight with a game to spare (against Guinea on Monday).

In their opening match, the Super Eagles humiliated Niger 4-1, thanks to Chisom Chikatara hat-trick, the first of the tournament, and Osas Okoro, while Zakaria Adebayor netted Niger’s consolation. Tunisia drew with Guinea 2-2 in their opening match.

"If you look at the facilities in the hotel, pitches, security and everything related on caring on teams, we are happy with how we have been treated.

"Rwanda is the cleanest country in Africa, everything is very organised, so we are happy” he added.

Concerning their next match against Tunisia, Sunday said, "We are playing against a very good side but we will be looking for a win because we know what it means.”

Meanwhile, Tunisia head coach Hatem Missaoui said his side is capable of beating anyone ahead of the Nigeria clash.

"We made mistakes in the first game, but we have corrected them and hopefully we will win the match on Friday, which will boost our chances of reaching quarter-finals,” Hatem Missaoui said.

Niger will meet Guinea in the day’s second match.
