It is very encouraging to read about the scrapping of deposit leasing fees and royalty fees by the Rwanda Civil Aviation Authority (RCAA). Such moves will result in a positive outcome.
RwandAir's larger operational network later this year, coupled with KIA initiatives, will take tourism to even greater heights.
Easy access to any destination, serves as a catalyst when it comes to tourism growth.
For the first time ever, Rwanda Tourism will participate in India's largest Tourism Expo - Outbound Travel Market 2016, which is scheduled to be held in the commercial capital, Mumbai.
The participation of many private sector players from Rwanda, like inbound tour operators, hotel companies etc, will repose the desired confidence in the Indian Outbound Travel Market which is a staggering 20 million in size.
With the support of the private sector, Rwanda Tourism's foray into the Indian market will be far more effective and productive.
India will warmly welcome the national carrier, RwandaAir, to Mumbai and having this connectivity will definitely lead to a marked increase of Indian visitor arrivals into ‘Remarkable’ Rwanda.
