Rwandan music lovers are in for a treat as local musicians start dropping back to back hits that put listeners into festive season mood.

From Kevin Kade’s first track ‘Munda’ off his maiden album that debuts December, to Bana’s remix produced by Pastor P, The New Times highlights new song making things happen in town.

Bana Remix

Pastor P, one of the best producers in the country, recently launched a new music genre dubbed ‘Indanga style’ and its the reason why Bana remix is trending.

The producer remixed Bana in the new music style that fuses modern sounds and Rwandan traditional sounds produced by traditional handmade instruments such as Inanga, Umuduri, and Ikembe.

The remix dropped on Tuesday, November 21, after the original song took over local airwaves and televisions, becoming number one hit song in the country.

Munda - Kevin Kade

After announcing his debut album, Kevin Kade has released the first track off the album dubbed Munda and it’s already a trend on different platforms like Tik Tok and Instagram.

The richness of the song relies in Element’s production touch and the hard work of lyricists like Bill Ruzima, Kivumbi and Junior Rumaga, all who composed the song.

Munda is out on all major streaming platforms.
