Orynbassar (Kaz) Vs Ntabanganyimana (Rwa) 3.15pm
Rwanda's Valentin Ntabanganyimana will be Africa's first boxer in action when he fights Kazakhstan's Ramazan Orynbassar on the opening day (Friday) of the IBA World Junior Championships in the Armenian capital city, Yerevan.

Ntabanganyimana who, together with his coach Jean Claude Gatorano, left Kigali Wednesday night, will fight in the light bantamweight category (50-52kg).
In addition to Rwanda, other African countries in Yerevan are Tunisia, Zimbabwe and Mauritius. Tunisia has three male and one female boxers, Mauritius one male and one female while Zimbabwe has four male and one female boxers.
A total of 26 weight categories - 13 each for male and female boxers - will be competed for in the 11-day event. There's an additional one, pinweight (44-46kg) for both male and female boxers.
Of the 448 young talents from 548 countries taking part in the IBA Junior World Championships, only India, Kazakhstan and Russia have entered full teams of 26 boxers.
Meanwhile, Germany and Denmark, both members of World Boxing, a separate governing body from IBA, are also taking part in the World Junior Championships.
Boxers eligible for junior tournaments are those aged between 15 -16 and 17-18 years for youth tournaments.
