Bank of Kigali was the only active counter during yesterday’s slow trading session at the local bourse, the Rwanda Stock Exchange (RSE) daily market report indicates. The bank recorded a total turnover of Rwf196,000 from 700 shares traded in two deals.

All the other counters – Bralirwa, Crystal Telecom, KCB, Equity Group, NMG and Uchumi Supermarkets - were quiet. The counter traded and closed at Rwf280, unchanged from Tuesday’s session.
Bralirwa closed at Rwf174, while Crystal Telecom last traded at Rwf99 and KCB at Rwf330. Equity Group, NMG and Uchumi Supermarkets counters, which have hardly traded this year, closed at Rwf334, Rwf1,200 and Rwf104, respectively.
The RSE Share Index and All Share Index were constant yesterday to close at 146.89 and 130.61 points, respectively.
At the end of formal trading hours, there were offers of 158,600 Bank of Kigali shares at between Rwf280 and Rwf300, but there were no bids.
On Bralirwa counter, there were offers of 300,500 shares at Rwf174 and bids for 203,000 shares at Rwf165-170.
Crystal Telecom received offers of 886,200 shares at between Rwf99 and Rwf107 and an outstanding bid for 12,700 shares at Rwf97.
