RE: "Grooming young girls is a noble venture” (The New Times, December 14).

Grooming young girls is indeed a noble cause but as long as the programme is not used to cover up some other teachings that do not conform to our cultural values. Hopefully, our girls are not being brain-washed into becoming haters of the relationship between man and woman or marriage between man and woman.

We need to be careful: a new type of "missionaries” have begun their expansion in Africa but many people to not seem to notice what is happening.
