After a two year hiatus, one of Rwanda’s popular entertainment events, the Jungle Party, returned with hundreds of Kigalians ‘invading’ the western resort town of Rubavu, the venue for the latest gig.

Uganda’s Radio and Weasel, arguably East Africa's best music group, were the main acts on Saturday as Jungle Party finally took place at Lake Kivu Serena Hotel.

It was a full house at the Jungle Party

And the duo didn't disappoint. They put up an energetic performance that genuinely excited the revellers in attendance.

They kicked off their show with songs like Nakudata, their first major hit back in 2006, and followed it up with Bread and Butter – as the crowd danced away the night and sang along.

Radio and Weasel performed most of their hits on Saturday night.

After singing most of their songs, Radio and Weasel wrapped up the concert at 1:00a.m with Ekyama and Juicy Juicy, their latest hits.

There were also performances from Pius of Two4Real and Uganda's KS Alpha.

Heineken were the main sponsors of the event

Ange K and Hot Melonie were the MCs.

The Jungle Party, organised by Showtime Events, was sponsored by Heineken, Tecno Mobile, RwandAir, Lake Kivu Serena Hotel, and Hot FM.
