Editor,
What precisely can one get out of the mixed, confusing perception conveyed in reportages such as this one?
Would the goal of cultural festivals called for throughout the country be to 'attract more foreign tourists' or to 'taking - traditional - culture to future generations'? Or simply to provide entertainment and momentary enjoyment to the people...? Or, perhaps, to give back Agaciro to ourselves, thus endowing "something special to our country"?
Can we strategically make up our minds and focus on a more planned ultimate goal and objectives that serve our immediate interests first? And specify which, in concrete terms, are those immediate and future interests and needs.
