The statement issued Friday by the Defence and Military spokesperson, Brigadier General Joseph Nzabamwita, lists the undisciplined officers at different ranks, including one Major, one Captain and several lieutenants.
The statement made reference to law Nº 38/2015 OF 30/07/2015 on Downsizing, Discharge, demobilization and dismissal in Rwanda Defense Forces, saying the soldiers are dismissed with immediate effects.
