Dear editor,
From the looks of it, Obama is the next president. Forget about all the political blubber about this and that. Not only is Obama outwitting John McCain on political issues, he is also outstanding in his personal life.
People are supposed to be people, not robots or machines that are programmed to be one thing. If USA is to have a president, it should be Barack Obama who shows all sides of human nature.
This means he can properly understand issues at grass root levels. Just on Monday, Barack Obama’s campaign announced that he’d be taking a few days off of the campaign trail to visit his ailing 85 year-old grandmother, Madelyn Dunham, in Hawaii.
Under normal circumstances, a presidential candidate does not have time for these personal ventures because they are rendered useless. However, Obama’s case is different. He makes time.
Others may see it as wastage of time but it is to his advantage at this critical moment in history. I believe that this act will add some few points in the hoop and push Obama further ahead in the campaign.
Maybe his campaign team got it wrong - Obama is actually not off the campaign trail, he still on the trail but just walking in a different style. Do you get it now?
