Obama and grandmother teach us filial duty

Dear editor, I do not hate my parents and grandparents, but for sure, I find it extremely difficult to understand how I could stop such a tough campaign to visit a sick grandmother.

Dear editor,

I do not hate my parents and grandparents, but for sure, I find it extremely difficult to understand how I could stop such a tough campaign to visit a sick grandmother.

The 2008 US campaigns are so tough and tight that very few would leave them for a similar purpose, if they were not Obama.

In Africa, not even a first parent would stop presidential campaigns as a matter of reality.

This is therefore to pay compliments to Democratic contender for the US presidency Barack Obama for teaching me and the rest of the world some values that we had thrown overboard.

No matter the importance of our missions, it is also of great value to look where we came from and respect those who raised us up with due respect. Thumbs up, Senator Obama.
