RWANDA international Nelson Murangwa is adapting to life in Denmark and says is happy at his new club Middelfart Volleyball Club, which plays in the Danish second division league.
The 21-year old former Rayon Sports left-attacker, who signed a one-year contract with Middelfart on July 14, left the country earlier this month and says he is already looking forward to developing his career in Denmark.
"I’m already enjoying not only volleyball but life here, Middelfart are a big club despite playing in the second division, and there is no doubt I will learn and achieve a lot with them.
I have already obtained my work permit, which has allowed me start playing for my club—I have so far featured in four league matches,” Murangwa told Sunday Sport by phone from Denmark.
He added that, "I was warmly welcomed at the club and really liking it here.” Middelfart sit second in table standings after nine rounds of games of the second tier league that started on October 17.
Murangwa, who earned his maiden cap in the national team in 2013 at the age of 19, was playing for Rayon Sports since early 2014 and served the Blues for two seasons, helping the club to finish second in the league in both seasons.
He also helped Fidele Nyirimana’s team to win the 2014 Genocide Memorial Tournament and 2015 Carre d’As.
