Young talented artistes, dancers, designers, models, and fashion lovers will converge at Hotel Hilltop, Remera on Sunday 29, for the 2nd edition of the Youth Culture Carnival Awards.

Speaking to The New Times, the organiser of the event, Jean de Dieu Uwimana, said that the awards are aimed at assisting young people to grow their talents.

"We are trying to help young people to develop and promote their talents. We are focused on dancing, fashion, music, and the creative industry in general,” he said.

The awards will see the Popular Youth of the Year, Best Event Host of the Year, Best Singer of the Year, Best Video Dancer of the Year, Best Dance Crew of the Year, Best Youth Page of the Year, Best Photographer of the Year, and the Best Fashion Agency of the Year awarded.

Online voting has already closed but the rest of the voting methods are open till November 28.

The event is sponsored by mattress manufacturers; Rwanda Foam.
