The organisers of Rwanda’s gospel awards have unveiled the list of the nominees of the 2015 Groove Awards at Camp Kigali.
The annual awards, which are in their 3rd year, were introduced to promote, expose and motivate gospel artistes, and it has grown to reach out to other talented young artistes across the country.
Pastor John Kaiga, who is behind Rwanda Groove Awards, said that this year’s awards would be different from the previous ones.
"The previous two editions were criticized, but with this edition, we promise that everything will be much better.
The voting has just started now and it will end on December 19,” he noted.
This year will see most upcoming artistes tussle it out among themselves since notably absent on this year’s nominee list are popular artistes like Gaby Kamanzi, Patient Bizimana, Serge Iyamuremye, Liliane Kabaganza, Aline Gahongayire, and Nelson Mucyo.
The official award ceremony will be held on December 20.
