I must take this opportunity to thank the Ombudsman for showing zero tolerance to corruption. Under normal circumstances, your wealth must reflect the salary you earn per month.

It is very surprising to find that some government officials (as per recent Ombudsman report), have wealth that is far from their monthly earning. This only explains wrongful acquisition of wealth through corruption and embezzlement.

The office is thus doing a great service to Rwandans, when it is unravelling such people, so that the concerned authorities take action against them. This office is such a great asset to our country!
