Teenager Thierry Musabyimana could start in attack on Tuesday, November 21, when Rwanda takes on South Africa in a 2026 World Cup qualifier at Huye Stadium.
Musabyimana,18, was handed a late debut callup by Torsten Frank Spittler as he joined the camp just a day before Rwanda’s match against Zimbabwe.

According to reports from training, the youngster’s prolific attacking prowess has impressed Spittler who is now considering to start him against Bafana Bafana ahead of Innocent Nshuti who struggled to impress against Zimbabwe.
The Le Havre U19 player, who scored 8 goals in 12 league games during the 2022/23 season, was born in France to Rwandan parents.
He is uncapped at any level and is free to play for Rwanda without any FIFA clearance.
