Kenyan MPs, pushed by emotions have called for an airport in the west of the country upgraded for Air Force One, in case Barack Obama wins the US elections.

This is because Mr Obama’s father was born in Nyanza Province and the MPs say the local Kisumu airport should be expanded in case he wants to visit.

This is a proposal that I see as highly sentimental and emotional, for you cannot tell now, who will win the elections.

But of course national opinion polls in the US put him 14 points ahead of his rival.

What I can only promise people, is that whole world will burst in support of this man if he wins.
