There was low activity at the Rwanda Stock Exchange with only Bank of Kigali trading, the daily market report indicates. The counter recorded a total turnover of Rwf56,000 from 200 shares traded in one deal. It closed at Rwf280, unchanged from Friday’s share price.

The Rwanda Share Index and All Share Index remained constant to close at 171.15 and 133.62 points, respectively.

Bralirwa, Crystal Telecom, KCB, Uchumi Supermarkets, as well as Equity Bank and NMG counters were all quiet during yesterday’s trading session. The Bralirwa counter closed at Rwf237, while Crystal Telecom was at Rwf100 and the KCB counter at Rwf330. Equity, NMG and Uchumi counters have not traded for month and last closed at Rwf334, Rwf1,200 and Rwf104, respectively.

At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding offers of 510,300 Bank of Kigali shares at between Rwf280 and Rwf305, but investors were ready to buy 10,500 shares at Rwf265-Rwf279. On the Bralirwa counter, there were outstanding offers of 330,600 shares at between Rwf236 and Rwf260 and no bids. Crystal Telecom had outstanding offers of 514,200 shares at between Rwf100 and Rwf110 and no buyers.  The RSE bond market was quiet yesterday, according to the report.
