You are so high up every mountain on earth

Full of swiftness and burning faith

You are a hawk flying in the sky beneath the clouds

On a hunt of freshly fleshed and boned preys

You are fond of tall buildings and lights

Hectic days and dancing nights

Loud music and enchanting words

And how pencils feel underneath you fingers

It was all seized when your father said you can get what you want

When all your long dreams became vital

And you devoted all your youth to it

You discerned where you will stand and belong

The flaw in you is that you don’t divide your heart

When you lose one dime that’s when you remember to look straight

When you love you lose focus

But your best revenge is success

You sound so invincible when you speak

You are too busy scheming the colors of your mask

Drying your eyes every morning and straightening your lashes

Just because you stray from betraying yourself before the whole world

You tumble so fast that’s why you’re too broken to be mended

Those platinum are way too hard to reach

You muse to get your fingertips on them to feel more expensive

For they will light your skin and glow your eyes

You loved it

You chased it

And tonight you’ve got it

Money smells so fine, doesn’t it?
