Azam Rwanda Premier League leaders Police FC face Rayon Sports this afternoon at Kicukiro stadium looking to maintain their two-point caution at the top of the table.

It is going to be tough game for both sides as Andre Casa Mbungo’s Police will be aiming to continue leading the league while David Donadei’s third-placed Rayon will be looking to win and move level on points with Police.

The Peace Cup reigning champions Police beat Rayon Sports 1-0 in the final but Donadei is keen to revenge.

Last season, the first round league fixture between the two clubs ended goalless in Muhanga while Police won the second round clash 2-1 at Kicukiro stadium.

After four games this season, Police have won three and drawn one against league champions APR while Rayon Sports have won two, drawn one and lost one against Mukura Victory Sport.

According to Rayon Sports’ French coach Donadei, getting three points will shape their line of thinking towards the possibility of winning the league title — he also wants to be the first to hand Police their first defeat of the 2015/16 campaign.

"This is the biggest and most important match for Rayon Sports so far this season and we have prepared for it in the best way possible. Our objective is to win every game, which means we shall go into today’s game to win,” Donadei said.
