APR will face Bugesera in the Azam Rwanda Premier League at Kicukiro stadium on Friday, seeking to return to winning ways after picking only one point from the last two matches.

The defending champions find themselves in an unfamiliar territory of 10th place in the 16-team table standing with four points from a possible nine, level with today’s opponents.

APR interim coach Emmanuel Rubona, who has lost one game against Mukura 2-0 and drawn one with Police 1-1 last Friday, will be looking for the first win of the season.

"We need three points and I believe we will get them to enable us move up the table. We have collected four points in three games which is not good for us. We need to win this game,” Rubona said before revealing that first choice keeper, Olivier Kwizera will be out with an ankle injury.

Bugesera head coach Ali Bizimungu is keen to take advantage of APR’s slow start, "If there is a good time to face APR, it’s now because they seem not to be at their best.”

In today’s other match, Amagaju FC, in 12th position host ninth-placed Espoir in Nyamagabe.
