Kibungo University of Agriculture, Technology and Education (INATEK) volleyball coach Dominic Sesonga Ntawangundi has challenged his team to prove they are can be a force to reckon with by winning the national volleyball title on Saturday, the last day of the season.
INATEK are second on the table with 56 points, two behind leaders Rayon Sports and both have three matches left including a meeting between the two teams in the very last tie of the season at Amahoro indoor stadium.
"The last round of matches will be a lot more competitive because both teams (INATEK and Rayon Sports) want to win the title and they both have a good chance,” Sesonga said.
He added, "We need to win the last three matches as we did last weekend so that we can win the league title. It’s going to be difficult, especially against Rayon but we will give our best. I believe this is our chance.”
To win the title, Sesonga’s team must win all their three matches including beating their main rivals, Rayon Sports, while Fidele Nyirimana’s Rayon, also need to win their remaining three matches (including the one against INATEK) to be crowned champions on their second attempt.
