Located in a quiet neighbourhood of Nyarutarama, Christian Life Assembly was the venue for Sunday’s Stand4Jesus Outreach concert by Burundian gospel icon, Dudu Niyukuri.
Located in a quiet neighbourhood of Nyarutarama, Christian Life Assembly was the venue for Sunday’s Stand4Jesus Outreach concert by Burundian gospel icon, Dudu Niyukuri.
Niyukuri, a renowned gospel singer and music producer, was accompanied by his band.
The singers engaged the audience with their great selection of praise and worship songs. The evening saw the fans entertained by numerous gospel artistes including Gaby Kamanzi, Patient Bizimana and Serge Iyamuremye.
Niyukuri and his band have performed in the country on numerous occasions, as well as at various festivals and venues. He expressed gratitude for the "privilege of performing in Kigali before hundreds of people.”
"We wanted to tell the good news to people that our almighty Lord is soon coming so that they stand for the truth that Jesus urges them to know through the bible,” said the singer, who also doubles as a pastor.
"It was also a time to recognise the great work that Rwandans have done for Burundians in one way or another.
The concert was awesome and people came in big numbers,” added Niyukuri.
The concert in its second edition, ended at 10p.m; with all the revellers counting the evening well spent.
