Police FC go into their third home game against defending champions APR in the Azam Rwanda Premier League today at Kicukiro Ground seeking to maintain their unbeaten run.

The first derby of the season will pit reigning champions APR against the Peace Cup winners who are currently leading the table with six points from two games and are the only team that has not lost in league.

"I’m confident that my team can beat anyone in this league and we want to win this match against APR and our target is to win every game. We have started an excellent season and the boys will look forward to winning and remaining unbeaten. We are focused on winning this game, it’s a big game against APR where anyone can beat anyone and our target will be to win the game.” Mbungo said.

His counterpart APR interim coach Emmanuel Rubona said, "We need to win this game because it will bring more confidence. Our aim is to get good results early which will help us to be in a good position of competing for the league title. I think my team can win the game.

We are determined to win but we know it will be difficult given that they are all big teams. We lost the game against Mukura but we need to bounce back.”
