Crystal Telecom was the only active counter at the Rwanda Stock Exchange (RSE) yesterday, the daily market report indicates. The firm pushed 20,000 shares in one deal at Rwf115, realising a total turnover of Rwf2.3 million.
However, it shed Rwf4, from Rwf119 during previous trading session on Friday. This affected the RSE Share Index and the All Share Index (ALSI), which all dropped marginally. The Rwanda Share Index went down 0.4 points to close at 188.94, while the ALSI shed 0.05 points to close at 141.30.
The Bank of Kigali counter closed at Rwf280, unchanged from Friday’s trading session. The Equity Bank counter was at Rwf334, while Bralirwa closed Rwf280. The KCB, NMG and Uchumi Supermarkets counters were closed at Rwf370, Rwf1,200 and Rwf104, respectively.
At the end of formal trading session, there were outstanding offers of 264,700 Bank of Kigali shares at between Rwf280 and Rwf305, but there were no bids. Bralirwa had offers of 1,026,600 shares at between Rwf278 and Rwf311, but got no buyers. On the KCB counter, there was an outstanding offer of 600 shares at Rwf333. Crystal Telecom received outstanding offers of 502,900 shares at between Rwf117 and Rwf130 and no bids. On the RSE bond market, there were outstanding offers of Rwf700,000 worth of bonds at between Rwf103 and Rwf105, and outstanding bid for Rwf25 million worth of bonds at Rwf101.
