Rwanda Cricket Association (RCA) have organised a premiership qualifier tournament that is scheduled to start today at the Kicukiro cricket oval.

According to the RCA general manager, Joshua Mwanja, the qualifier tournament is a pathway in the UAE Exchange & Xpress Money 50 overs premier league.

The qualifier will include five teams namely; Kerala Hunters CC, Impala Titans CC, Challengers CC, Kigali Warriors CC and Victory CC.

The winner with the best net run rate will get direct entry in to the premiership, while the second best team will face Impala Titans on October 4 and winner of this match will join the UAE Exchange & Xpress Money 50 overs premiership.

This year’s UAE Exchange & Xpress Money 50 overs premiership will have six men’s teams. They include defending champions- Right Guards, runners up Indorwa CC, Telugu Royals CC and Kigali CC plus the two teams from the qualifier.
