Rwanda lost to African giants Egypt 3-2 (25-27, 26-24, 24-26, 25-17, 15-13) in the third place playoff after a great performance from both teams in the match that lasted 126 minutes.

Rwanda led twice 1-0 and 2-1 before Egypt came back with some substitutes to win the fourth set and the tightly contested tiebreaker.
