Along the production chain, the key players are many and luckily with the cup of excellence, coffee quality in Rwanda has been improved. Even from the recently concluded 7th Edition of the Cup of Excellence in Rulindo district both farmers and coffee processors accrue to hard work to maintain the competitive standards. Eric Ruganintwali, the Division Manager in charge of quality assurance and regulation Division at NAEB believes that the cup of excellence competition has steadily promoted the quality of coffees produced.
