Gabon national football team coach Stephane Boungueza has said his team will be looking for a win in tomorrow’s international friendly match against Rwanda at Amahoro National Stadium.

Speaking to local media on Wednesday, Boungueza said: "We have come here to win because we want positive results every time we play, regardless of the opponent.”

The warm-up match against hosts of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations finals tournament is part of Amavubi’s preparations ahead of Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) which will be held in Rwanda from January 16 to February 7, 2016.

Les Panthères’ 45-man delegation including 18 players, nine members of the technical staff, six journalists and 12 officials from the Gabonese Ministry of Sports, Olympic Committee and Gabonese Football Federation arrived in Kigali on Wednesday afternoon.

This will be the third time that Rwanda is facing Gabon. In July last year, Rwanda beat Gabon 1-0 in a friendly in Kigali. Jacques Tuyisenge scored the lone goal and in the return leg Amavubi picked another 1-0 win in Libreville through Meddie Kagere’s strike.

The Boungueza’s side played a 1-1 all draw against Zambia’s Chipolopolo on Tuesday night in another friendly match played at the National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka.
