Mukura Victory Sports have offered head coach Godfroid Okoko a one-year contract extension until the end of 2015/16 season, which is scheduled to begin on September 18.
The Burundian-born tactician Okoko, who returned to Mukura earlier this year, replacing Baptiste Kayiranga, was tasked to revive the Yellow and Black outfits into a top four team.
"We agreed with him that he has to build a team not to participate in the league to compete for trophies, and also finish in the top four. As the team management, we will do our best to support him,” Mukura vice president Abraham Nayandi told this paper on Friday.
Former Prince Louis Rwagasore FC midfielder, Okoko had his first stint at the Huye-based club during the 2011/2012 season before heading to Musanze FC.
Last season, Mukura finished in the 10th position in the 14-team league table with 29 points.
