A living room speaks volumes about a home. According to Anajette Cyangwino; an Assistant Operations Manager at Nina Interiors, people are different and therefore everyone prefers a particular theme or even a specific way of designing their living room.

"It all depends on the items; it may be curtains or sofas that you are relying on to determine the colour of the others,” she says

She explains that a person may be having their theme colour of preference which can be shared with an interior designer to help coordinate and make a colour contrast.

The colour of the living room can even be totally different from that of the bedroom as it helps to break the boring monotony of having to see the same colour all over the house.
