Graduates from Riviera High School have been challenged to focus on improvement in whatever they do in order to be successful in their career path.

The call was made by Uganda’s High Commissioner to Rwanda Richard Kabonero while addressing students, parents and stakeholders during the annual graduation ceremony at the school grounds on Saturday.

"As you graduate, you should remember that there is a bigger room around us and this is the room for improvement. This should be your target,” Kabonero said.

A total of 144 students graduated from different levels. Of these 47 completed Form Three while 68 completed Form Six. The others completed different classes of the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE).

Kabonero also commended the school staff and administration for their tremendous efforts in educating students.

"I thank the academic staff and the school community of Riviera High School who are doing a great job in giving Rwandan children quality education,” he added.

Meanwhile, Boniface Onyango, the school principal, urged students not to lose their cultural fiber in their life long journey of education. "You should harmonize cultural social intellect, spiritual intellect and academic intellect for a holistic education,” he said.
