The mild performance affected the RSE Share Index, which shed 0.1 points to close at 195.52, while the All Share Index went down 0.01 points to close at 141.99 points. The other two of the most active firms at the exchange, Bank of Kigali and Bralirwa, were quiet yesterday, and so were the cross-listed counters – NMG, KCB, Equity Bank and Uchumi Supermarkets. The Bank of Kigali counter closed at Rwf290, while Bralirwa was at Rwf292 and Equity at Rwf334. KCB closed at Rwf370. No transactions were recorded on NMG and Uchumi counters.
At the end of formal trading hours, there were outstanding offers of 497,900 Bank of Kigali shares at between Rwf290 and 300 and bids for 7,200, ranging from Rwf275-Rwf285. On the Bralirwa counter, there were offers of 950,600 shares at between Rwf286 and Rwf320, but there were no buyers, while KCB had an outstanding offer of 600 shares at Rwf333 and no bids. The Crystal Telecom counter got offers of 285,500 shares at Rwf125-139 and no bids. On the RSE bond market, there was an outstanding offer of Rwf2.1 million worth of bonds at between Rwf104.5 and Rwf105 and no buyers.
