Rwanda Football Federation (FERWAFA), in partnership with FIFA, is conducting a physical fitness training that kickedoff on Monday and is set to run up to August 22 at FERWAFA headquarters in Remera.
Rwanda Football Federation (FERWAFA), in partnership with FIFA, is conducting a physical fitness training that kickedoff on Monday and is set to run up to August 22 at FERWAFA headquarters in Remera.
The physical fitness course is being facilitated by FIFA’s fitness instructor, Doctor Zakaria Labs.
The five-day physical fitness training has attracted a total of 32 local coaches, topflight league and second divisions.
The fitness training course includes strength training, speed training, agility training, power training, endurance training and proper techniques for warming up and cooling down before and after matches.
In his opening remarks, FERWAFA president Vincent Nzamwita said, "I want to thank all coaches who have managed to spare their time for this valuable course. Thanks also to FIFA for their continued commitment and assistance to FERWAFA.”
He challenged participating coaches to pass on the knowledge gained from such courses to others.
